Frequently asked questions
Are our appraisals accepted by courts and the IRS?
Yes. All appraisal reports are developed in full compliance with USPAP and meet IRS requirements for estate tax (Form 706), charitable donations, and other filings. Our reports are written to withstand court scrutiny and are accepted by probate courts, family law courts, and bankruptcy trustees nationwide.
What types of property do you appraise?
We appraise a wide range of personal property, including fine art, jewelry, antiques, furniture, decorative arts, collectibles, coins, books, musical instruments, silver, and general household contents. If you are unsure whether an item qualifies, simply ask — we are happy to advise.
How are your appraisal fees determined?
Fees are based on time, scope, and complexity of the assignment — never on the appraised value of the property. This keeps our reports ethically neutral and USPAP-compliant. We are happy to provide a no-cost fee estimate before any engagement begins.
Do you provide appraisals in all 50 states?
Yes. While we are based in Lakeland, Florida, we serve clients nationwide through on-site, photo-based, and virtual appraisal services. For attorneys handling multi-state estates or cases, we can coordinate appraisals across jurisdictions without delay.
How quickly can you turn around a report?
Turnaround depends on the scope of the assignment, but we are mindful of court deadlines and filing requirements. Rush turnaround is available upon request. We will discuss timing and expectations upfront before any work begins.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, our business phone number is not provided publicly and will only be shared once a provider–client relationship has been established.
